That goes for the jerks in this weeks News & Review as well, Cory Roda and that Kiefer guy and their snide ass asides that the music scene is lacking right now or needs more in Sacto. Have these dweebs seen Whos Your Favorite Son God, Art Lessing & The Flower Vato, The really awesome Noise Waffle shows, Antlers, Dead Western, etc. etc. Or seen the shows us local folk go to the trouble of organizing so we dont have to go see the bands in SF? Charalambides, Wooden Wand, Skaters, Green Milk, Hototogisu, No Doctors, Pink Reason, Six Organs, all the shows Rick, Liz, Brian F. John, Brendan, and others have put together in the past? Didnt think so. The problem with Sacramento isnt the lack of awesome local bands or getting awesome outta town bands, its the lame ass citizens here who could care less about making an effort to go see something different and cool. They'd rather frequent the hottest new downtown bistro and be fed whatever KWOD is shoveling out.
