Could be the $$$, but $12/15 seems reasonable to me for 8-10 bands per night including a "name" headliner (Dr.Know, Verbal Abuse). It was really sad how few people were there -- the bands were great but Colonial was like a huge empty cave. From what I could figure around 2/3 of the audience was the other bands. Bummer

::Hmmm-- why did no one (or almost no one) show up to the first couple of days of messyfest -- some of the best punk bands I've seen in Sac in a long time?
