I really liked the fucked up-ness of Ariel Pink's set here in Sac. It was everything i expected it to be and then some. So what if none of it sounded like anything on his records, it was still a fuckin' hoot, son. so is he coming to sacto? if so, will it be with the G.G.D.?
I saw their "west coast" debut in S.F. I could tell they were doing some wonderfull things, but unfortunately the sound man butchered their set to bits. I talked to the keyboard dude about it and he was pissed.
Would like to see them with a good sound dude. for some bands it makes all the difference.
