GHENGIS KHAN III (san francisco)

9pm...delta of venus...davis....$4-5 suggested donation for band gas

NUDITY are some buddies of mine from olympia, they've been in bands like BEHEAD THE PROPHET NLSL, TIGHT BROS FROM WAY BACK WHEN, GROWING, ADVENTURE, C.O.C.O., HORNET LEG, DUB NARCOTIC SOUND SYSTEM, and many many more. this time around they're kicking out some pretty charging hard psyche that i think should go down easy for you guys that wear daishikis for kicks. they've played davis a couple of times already, their last appearance was particularly great when they played one song for 12 minutes and then stopped. that was their set, and i thought it was brilliant...particularly in the context of a show at g street pub which never seems to go right unless the band does something particularly ass-ish to the audience.

GHENGIS KHAN III is some dudes from sf that NUDITY are bringing with them. got no bio deets for you, but my first impression based on listening to 15 seconds of music on their myspace page is that they're kind of trying to channel some guys playing dirthead rocknroll circa 1974 in their garage.

probably should mention that the weather forecast calls for niiiiice, so it'll be perfect weather for chilling on the delta of venus patio drinking brews before/during/after the show. also, this one is donation-only, so those of you with the financial wherewithall to not be lame about this maybe try and pay $5 or something so the bands will get paid ok.
