:Does anyone know if the 4/30 date for Z'Ev is correct? Earlier it had said that he was playing over the weekend, which is Coachella. If he is indeed playing Monday night, that would be really awesome.
It has said 4/30 since the old undietacos, I'm pretty sure. I booked the show, and I try to be accurate on details like that. In any event, Z'ev is definitely playing on Monday, April 30th.
If you haven't heard much of Z'ev's work in the last ten years, you'll be amazed at what he's been up to. Diversely influenced mindbending stuff. It sounds like if Weasel Walter went on a worldmusic bender after Sublime Frequencies discography immersion.
The opening act is a really awesome band, too...Sikhara. Click on the Sikhara link on shows calendar page. Their album is outstanding. Sounds like certain bands on "Dry Lungs" compilations from the 80's...they bring to mind Test Department, Collectif Nox, that one Hula record that really kills.
