Might as well continue my evangelism for The Lights, who are also on this bill. By any measure I can think of, they kick ass. The fact that now they're on this all-ages bill is just added treat for anyone who's photo is still on the right-hand side of their drivers' license. See you all Thursday

:Ok, so this band Psychic Paramount is playing. Two members were in Laddio Bollocko, if you know nothing about them, this is what Wikipedia has to say,
:
:"Laddio Bolocko is one of those bands that gained in popularity quickly upon breaking up. Their aggressive, blown-out records of instrumental avant-punk -- recorded cheaply (but slowly and painstakingly) on digital equipment -- intermix violent rage, grace and subtlety in a heady, brooding way reminiscent of Can or Miles Davis.
:
:The group formed in 1996 in the midwest and then moved to New York -- guitarist Drew St. Ivany and bassist Ben Armstrong from the noise music group Panicsville, Blake Fleming from the Dazzling Killmen and Marcus DeGrazia on horns.
:
:Though they never received a major label contract, the group was a favorite among critics and toured internationally constantly, often with vocal-less compatriots Trans Am.
:
:The group split in half in 2000, Armstrong and St. Ivany forming The Psychic Paramount, while Fleming and DeGrazia formed Electric Turn To Me. Since then, their music has been re-released and used in various soundtracks, including a David Cross DVD."
:
:Now, I could not find a local band to play with this band and I was in the process of trying to move it to the Turtle house (which will be a great show as well and you will have time to go to both if you can STAND THAT AWFUL DRIVE from Davis to Sacramento and back or vice versa), when Agent Ribbons had a cancelled show they needed to relocate.
:
:PETS
:AGENT RIBBONS
:THE LIGHTS
:
:and PSYCHIC PARAMOUNT who will play somewhere in the midst of all these Sacto bands.
:
:See you?
:
:Hope so.
