I've been working on a new piece: a guided improv thing somewhere between Zorn's game pieces and Morton Feldman's more minimal compositions. I'll be making my band run through it at Luna's on Nov. 18th. Thought some of you might be interested in checking it out. We'll be doing it last and the score and related materials will be available if folks want to check it out. I'm taking this to NYC in Dec. to record it with some E. Village people I love so I'm trying to collect some feedback on the piece before I go out there.
