KDVS in Davis has been freeform in Davis, CA, for almost all of its 40 years. There was a bad month back in 1984. Our 9200 watts hit most of the greater Sacramento area and up to the tops of the Sierra Nevada.

We're taking cues from WFMU with archiving and hope to be offering more reliable service this summer, and begin archiving programs for three years rather than just a week like we've been doing for the last several years.

Tonight's "Art for Spastics" on KDVS 90.3 FM (midnight pacific time) in Davis explores "What music *SHOULD* be on Bush's iPod?" Some great satirical tongue-in-cheek-pro-war songs tonight! We're raising money this week toward our goal of $60,000 for our weeklong annual on-air fundraiser.

I'm giving away a 2xCDR compilation of deep obscurity and wide variety of noisy scuzzrock and noisy disco that relates to some of our favorite hellraisers of today. DJ Flynn and I co-curated it with care. 15 hours of planning and execution went into it. There's no mistaking its quality, we think!
