DVD projection. On the upside, as with all of our screenings, it is 100% legit with a chunk of the money going directly from the attendee to us to the filmmaker. Also, by doing digital projection, it keeps costs lower which means a cheaper door price. On the downside, as with most microcinema venues, it is not really set up for or compatible with film projection - particularly, the noise of a film projector - so we are doing digital projection (sometimes, formats other than DVD may be used - eg, BetaSP).
