My post is late because I rarely look at this board. First, I'll say that I don't typically listen to drone music, especially electronic/gadget style. I like guitars and drums. I gave these guys my attention and open mind because one of the guys in the godawful band is a longtime friend. I ended up really liking their performance and I don't think I'm being biased because Damon is an old bud. I've listened to plenty a friends' bands that I disliked and don't mind saying that if they were to ask. I thought they made a cool noise and made it swell and "climax" well. I didn't stroke my chin or call on the buddha. Though I will admit I'm probably the most straight/conservative looking hippy I know. I've typically blown off bands that don't play regular instruments, but I'm trying to be more open minded. They're still creating something, making sound. Rock on.
:the second "band" that played was one of the most godawful things ever, and all you people that stood around and stroked your chins or SAT ON THE FUCKEN FLOOR like hippys and pretended like you "got it" or that is was some kind of deep art are all complicit in encouraging BAD MUSIC. that shit was fucken stinky.
