so anyways, THIS SONG IS A MESS BUT SO AM I is a really long name for my friend freddy's band. i use "band" loosely here, because it's just him and this really loud p.a. blasting a bunch of stuff he programmed at home really loud that will break your stereo when you buy the cd and turn it on. think throbbing gristle meets depeche mode, it's a total chocolate in your peanut butter kind of combination but like reese's peanut butter cups taught me growing up in the 1970s through 1980s sometimes things you don't think belong together make one great tasting treat. i think he's really onto something right now...but anyways, he's done a bunch of rad stuff that you can check out on the web, including split records with xiu xiu and barr, but here's some links for downloading mp3's and expanding your myspace friend network:

CANCER FAD, i don't really know much about other than freddy's bringing them with him. dudes were going to bring their other band, "are black" but i guess that broke up. which is too bad because i thought their songs on teh myspace made them sound pretty omg like crass with a drum machine. anyways, i listened to some cancer fad song on the internet this morning and thought it sounded pretty harsh, reminded me of tmu 10-inch era black dice maybe. you click here and see for yourself:

HORA SOMNI is some young noisey dawgs from davis. don't know much else, the song on teh myspace sounded pretty ambient and then goes into some glitch beats at the end, complimentary to fans of i dunno, i guess i could list a bunch of stuff and try to sound cool about it but maybe you should just click on the link and make up your own mind:
