iii. SWITCHED-ON VULTURES (no label, from Easter Island, ex-members of Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show)

at 1915 1/2 22nd St., Sacramento (tween S and T). 8pm SHARPS. $4 MONEY FOR THE BAND ON TOUR, BUT ONLY $3 IF YOU RIP THE SLEEVES OFF YOUR SHIRT IN FRONT OF ME AT THE SHOW. I'LL BE THERE CARRYING THE TORCH AND PASSING OUT FREE BEER UNTIL I RUN OUT OF THOSE OR DRINK THEM BEFORE YOU GET THERE. ARRIVE EARLY FOR THOSE, THEY WILL BE GONE IN A FEW MINUTES. ALSO, SOMEONE SHOULD INVENT PEPPERONI SCHNAPPS FOR US TO DRINK AT THE PARTEEEE.

These folks have kicked it out here quite a few times over the last few years and get better to me every time. I don't move around as much at shows anymore because I've gotten pretty lazy, but I am probably going to be smashing into people like a blind incredible hulk and yelling a lot of shit that doesn't make sense when they are playing. Hot Girls Cool Guys are playing this show as a warmup for their incredibly sweet time on the usa tour that starts in a few weeks. I'm siked for them, and also that Patrick is graduating next week from the high school and can finally join the air force and become a real man. Switched-On Vultures will maybe finish some recording SOON and will join myspace.com after that. Maybe someone should think about taking a picture of us flipping out at this show for that because it's the farewell show for Allen Campos who will not be playing guitar with us after this show because he is moving to NYC to become a DO/DON'T in the next issue of VICE. I will be STRICTLY ENFORCING people clapping and cheering in between every song and also make sure that at least one person that is a complete stranger to me tells Allen that they will miss him.
