I know most people could careless, but here is some info on Junta

Yes the rumors are true. The city of Sacramento walked in yesterday
& closed our doors.

On 2/21/06 we received notice from a firm representing "The
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Sacramento" stating
that "Business Occupant to be displaced" for the acquisition of the
property that JUNTA is at. Then yesterday we received a letter
revoking the Entertainment Permit from the City of Sacramento Code
Enforcement department. We are told that we are allowed to continue
business as usual without live music.

I will have more details shortly.

I would like to thank everyone for your support on this. We are
currently looking at a couple of new locations to move JUNTA &
continue bringing all ages shows into town.
