:First time in town for The Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound, a new band from SF that plays heavy power trio psych with a bit more of that melodic thing than Residual Echoes or Comets On Fire, they remind me of the old UK band Sun Dial or early Spaceman 3. Just recently put out their debut album (vinyl only no less) and it's excellent, been getting lots of play on WFMU, KFJC, and KUSF, now that KDVS has a copy you'll be hearing it there as well. Got a really good review from Coley and Moore in their Bulltongue column in Arthur, couldn't find that one online though so here is one from Dusted...
