I saw El Ten Eleven play there.
The draw was basically me and one other friend, but the locals seemed into it, and I actually really liked the place.

:I've been there a half-dozen times and it's not where you want to be playing. You'd have a better crowd if you asked the folks who read this board about putting on a house concert in Davis, or contacting bands in Sac who are in the same vein as yours.

::...that's not an encouraging sign. Yeah, it's in Roseville, and most of the bands that play there seem kinda broseph, backwards hat metal or party hip-hop, so I don't know if more indie-rock ennjoying crowds go there too. But I listened to one of the band that played there last Friday on MySpace, and they were legit - like, Tortoise if they listened to more Kinski. (El Ten Eleven, really decent).
