you can now edit the shows you've added. so no more asking heather to change anything and no more excuses.
however, it's only applicable to shows added FROM NOW ON. if you like you can request me to insert your email into the db for all your shows (fools foundation?) so that you may retroactively change your already-added shows. robert at sexyprison.com.
i'm thinking this is going to be good, because now people can add shows that aren't really completed yet and can update the info as soon as it is known. in particular, people should add shows that they're in the PROCESS of setting up, so that other people can be aware of the current status. so you could add "the intelligence, +1" and under venue type "NEED A VENUE!!" and other people could read it and post here to work something out. or for shows far in the future, you can post "jonny x and the groadies need a show!" and set the date and other people can read the listings and see about combining shows and adding bands and saving people headaches instead of having 4 shows in davis on the same night again. and so on and so forth.
honestly, the system isn't that secure right now as it's really just your email (actually it's really just whatever you submit into the password field, email or not), so keep that in mind when submitting a show. however, we've been up for like 3+ years now and because everyone is awesome we haven't had a single serious problem with people being dicks, so i wouldn't worry about it. but if you're some sort of php/mysql expert please try to break in if you can, i'm interested in any flaws or whatever i may be unaware of.
please post any ideas, suggestions, and ben duax impersonations.
