my fav mike memory was at the cat power show at harlows. he was sitting in the edge of the stage watching her play and this asshole security guard kept harrasing him. so he walked up between songs to that spoiled little princess chan marshall and asked her if he could just sit on the edge of the stage and watch her in peace. she mumbled some bullshit and walked off the stage. her bandmates started pointing at mike & yelling to the crowd "shows over! you can blame this guy!" the crowd was standing there booing mike who was just standing there on the stage. he looked like a sad puppy dog. dude just wanted to watch a show without hassle. anyway he didnt take any shit off those assholes there and stood his ground. i know that seems like a weird memory to relay of him but i had alot of respect for him doing that. also he was one of the top three drummers ever in sacto.
