All of this doom and gloom "oh, Sacramento is fucked!" seriously needs to go somewhere else. Out of the hundreds of shows I've seen and played here in more than a decade I would have to strain to think of a time when a show didn't happen due to lack of places to play. Laziness, yes; bad planning shutting a space down, yes; but I can think of at least a half dozen all ages spaces alone right now that are ready and willing. And now that Vox is back down town I can't wait to check out their new space.
