::What sucks about Luigi's? Yeah it's in a hideous complex of buildings, but geographically speaking I don't think they can get much more convenient for the carless masses. Plus, they pay the bands generously every time, there's usually a crowd and they have beer.

::::Yeah I guess I should mention something about that. My band is called Panic Opera. We're from Reno, NV and we play post-punkish noise. I'm setting up a northwest tour for late May right now and I'd like to find a show in Sacramento or Davis on the way home. I'd also be stoked on playing their occasionally since we are so close. I've only ever been to a show at Luigi's Fungarden but it seems like there's an awesome scene there what with that place, Fun Castle and KSSU. I'd just like to learn about it and play some shows. And if there are bands there that would like to play here, some of us volunteer with a non-profit that does shows. We can help set stuff up in basements, bars or wherever.
