She's super-charismatic and a fantastic singer and not afraid to sing. I swear it's like if Tickley Feather got together with Prince, and not only because of her "Purple Rain" cover. This charming young man makes some sweet damaged pop in his bedroom, and onstage, me and Julian help turn 'em out into some headbobbin' fistpumpers. With their first LP tucked under wing just before they left for tour last week, we'll see if the verdict is "best ever"....Seriously fun/funny garagepunk with snarky snot 'n slobberiness. He totally stole the show from So Cow at DAM House earlier this year with his hilarious rewrites and riff-swipes that make catchy songs like "Land of 1000 Dances" (or Jay Reatard's capture of an Anteenagers M.C. riff (wait, that's a swipe of a swipe?)) even catchier!
