EXTREME NOISE TERROR -- MONDAY 4/14 -- SILK
Posted by sacramentopunkshows on 2008-04-11 12:07:51am

Yet another iconic British Punk Band visits the Silk next Monday night thanks to the sweet, sweet Buried in Hell folks...

Extreme Noise Terror -- godfathers of grind playing their first California shows in over 20 years and the word is they have returned to their roots and left some of the metal trappings they picked up along the way behind

along with

Strong Intention -- totally great fast grind thrash on Coalition, Six Weeks, Crucial Blast and more

Trap Them from Washington

the wacked out shit of Knife Thru Head

and Rebel's Advocate who are just a great and wild band that deserve your attention

This thrilling show happens Monday, April 14th at the Silk, 1011 Del Paso Blvd.

Starts at 7, it costs $10, and it is supposedly 18 and over, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

And if that weren't enough just six days later you can return to the Silk for an all ages Sunday matinee with Anarcho-crust heroes RESIST (from Portland -- word is they sobered up so their live shows are better than ever) plus local skate thrash gods PSYCHOSOMATIC and THE SPECTRES from Canada mining some serious Joy Division territory plus THE ESTRANGED which is a band of Portland punk luminaries playing stuff inspired by the Wipers and Mission of Burma. Opening things up is face-ripping locals Planetary Ruins. All this brought to you by the Sacramento Pyrate Punx. It's supposed to start at 1 pm and is only 5 bucks and is officially all ages. So spend your 4/20 marvelling at how cool Sacramento has turned out to be.
