:Nathan does all sorts of experimentation-ing, percussion-ing, and arty music-making and has been leading bands through similar journeys for years and years now. This dude is ultra-prolific and has recorded and played with countless rad co-experimenters. Out of San Diego.

:If all this is sounding like too much art and not enough pop, then worry not because:
:Pregnant (http://www.myspace.com/gloomprarie) will be providing the effects-laden dreamboat mind journeys through melody. That's not to say they won't be experimenting, but they'll just be tapping more into a little bit of your dance grooves. Seriously though these guys rule, out of Sacramento so hyper-local and also carting over their brand new 12". Pregnant hasn't been out to Davis in a while so come out and support.

:At first I thought I had assembled somewhat of an oddball bill matching up these two bands, but it's making total sense to me now. Odd looping and effects, some combination of composure and letting it all go. Maybe that's enough reason to show up on its own.

:Firehouse is right next to/just east of the Music Building, about three buildings east of Shields Library (Shields has the only address for all of campus: One Shields Avenue Davis, CA 95616), and at the southeast corner of campus.

:If you're taking 80, take the Richards exit, go towards In-n-Out and continue towards downtown. Take a left at 1st St. (right after the train tunnel/underpass), then a left at A St., and a right at Hutchison. Firehouse is straight ahead, just after the gate/barrier thing (which you can't pass but can stop at to unload). )
