my purpose: anonymous and unbiased event listing, in what I think to be the spirit of the grand tacos of lore.
unfortunately, for booking and venues, I can only refer people to a bit of digging around myspace.
i feel retarded for making that suggestion, for obvious reasons that bother many a myspace concience, and since it conflicts with my interest. But myspace apparently has served as the enabler of the people who are currently supporting shows in my area.
A good starting point would be the barbra radio station /kcsb .
A more established list of shows than mine would be at /805shows
That guy makes some suggestions on said profile as far as who ?might? be willing to help in booking shows up and down the coast.
There's also a college radio station in san louis obispo at
/kcpr
I haven't been lookin for stuff in santa cruz.
uh, and, this is probably the most public anouncement that the barbara site has had. I'll start playing the town crier now, and hopefully someone other than I will start adding to the undiebarbara list.
