Friday 1/11/2008 at Java Lounge 8PM:
Antlers
David Daniell (from San Agustin)
Tom Carter (from Charalambides, Badgerlore, Sarin Smoke, and MANY more)
Chad Stockdale/Kevin Corcoran duo
Dunno if this will be the exact order or not, regardless show up on time or risk missing something cool cause it's all gonna be really good! First time playing on the west coast for David Daniell from the great and long running group San Agustin, he has also collaborated with Thurston Moore, David Grubbs, Loren Mazzacane Connors and plays in NYC composer Rhys Chatham's current guitar ensemble. Tom Carter probably needs no intro at this point, a true legend of the Texas (and more recently Bay Area)underground. This is also the first show for Antlers in about six months, and playing all new stuff trio-style no less, so come on out and welcome them back! Chad and Kevin are gonna mix the jazz and the electronic noise spew together on this one, so it could (and hopefully will) go anywhere/ everywhere.
