i think you're totally overreacting. a couple people were just suggesting that maaaybe you shouldn't book 10 bands for this, but that's all it was. beyond that came the classic thunderdome compuserve bbs shit, but that was all in good fun and had nothing to do with the actual show.
i don't think anyone's even come close to actually complaining or bitching (or pissing, moaning, whining..) about you booking this show. to be sure i appreciate it and am grateful. but if you're going to start this at noon, i regret to inform you that i won't be attending as i don't have the stamina or patience for that, think what you will. i can't speak for everyone, but you might increase draw as the night progresses by telling us approximately when crime goes on.
in the end you did the work and it's your show, so do as you feel. but you posted it on a public forum and people commented with how they feel about it. otherwise i don't know what the point of your post is other than to further this weird "us vs. them" vibe that seems to be steadily growing. which sucks, as we're all more or less on the same team.
