Re: If this gets done by 8:00 or 8:30...

And if folks will make the effort to get to this on-time it should be done by 8:30 no sweat.

It does suck when you have to choose between two cool shows, but y'know it's a better choice to have than having no shows to choose from at all!

:If the Six Organs show gets over at 8:00 or 8:30, you can head to Davis to catch the Oh Sees at 918 Douglas Ave. They will be going on around 9:00 and will finish by 10:00. The Oh Sees show is a benefit for our friends who lost their house to a fire a few weeks ago.

:It always sucks to hafta choose which show to miss...but the timing is right for you to make both shows this time.

::This is one of only a handful of FREE in-store performances in support of the new Six Organs album _Shelter From the Ash_, which is due out pretty darned soon (11/20 I think) on Drag City. There will be no opening act and the start time is early for real:
::
::Fri Nov 16 Los Angeles, CA Amoeba Hollywood, 6:30pm
::Sat Nov 17 Sacramento, CA Time Tested Books 7pm
::Sun Nov 18 San Francisco, CA Aquarius Records, 4pm
::Tue Nov 20 Portland, OR Jackpot, 6pm
::Wed Nov 21 Seattle, WA Sonic Boom Capitol Hill, 7pm
::
::These are meant to be in-stores, think of it more like a book reading or something, I mean you wouldn't show up 2 hours late for a book reading and expect to see anything would yah?
::
::This was originally gonna be at Amoeba in Berkeley, so it's pretty awesome that we get to have it here. Ben told me that Elisa from Magik Markers will be on the road with him, and she might be playing with him on a couple of songs, we'll have to wait and see!
