:HUMAN HOST is buddies from the blatimorg warzone aka the charg sity of maryland. Mike from the band charm city suicides sings in this band, which is HUMAN HOST which methinks is kind of a band that is like the men’s recovery project but with some great classic rock state fair vocal flourishes ripping the denim off your mom’s davenport and making a shitty ass looking vest out of it. :WOMAN YEAR have turned thee proverbial Technicolor dreamcoat inside out, cut it up and made a pretty fantastic looking cape out of it. Not sure what that means either, but that’s kind of what happens when bands step outside of the old 1-2-3-4 and aren’t easily compartmentalized. Seem to remember concurrence between CONCERTAR and MYSELF in concluding them being quite excellent when they played with Aa over the summer. Probably should expect some concise deep zoning, pyramid echoes, and raps about e.t. okay, probably no raps but these guys are sure to take you into deep space and back without getting any stink on you.
