Each released really good singles last year on X! Records, and now they've got a new EP and full-length respectively which ratchet their grooving spazzy weirdpunk up an extra notch. The Terrible Twos have members of that In the Red band The Piranhas. You might remember their crazy show at the Delta of Venus a couple years ago where the singer stripped and clawed at people and bit Klinger on the leg. Okay, that dude's not one of the ex-Piranhas in this band, but they do still have some of that same sonic boffo craziness, but it's also more reined-in rhythmically so as to be hard-charging and propulsive and probably a lot easier to dance to. The Frustrations drew comparisons to A Frames with their more geometrically ordered sound, but both bands have also gotten multiple lazy critics to give them nods to the Aussie X, Agent Orange, and Devo. I fully expect these bands to bring energy and mayhem. : :Nothing People you already know and love. And I'll leave it to others to explain Birds & Batteries. : :Not sure about the price policy at the door. You can get into that lot from A Street.</b> : :<b>Directions from Sacto...</b> : :(1) I-80 west to Davis :(2) Take the downtown "Richards Blvd. North" exit :(3) After passing thru tunnel, turn left at light onto First Street :(4) Turn left onto A Street :(5) Turn right on the first campus street, and take bend to left before the gate.
